I\u2019m Amy, and I opened my first salon in 2013. Never in a million years did I think I\u2019d own a business. It was something that came about after years of working in an industry that I sometimes felt put people in boxes.<\/p>

I wanted to create a salon where everyone could come and feel comfortable\u2014a beautiful space filled with good people, where our guests could become their best selves or simply leave feeling a little better than when they walked in. I started my journey into the beauty industry in 2005. I am as passionate about it today as I was the first time I stood behind the chair. I love hair, and I love working with amazing people! I\u2019m Marli and I have been behind the chair for about 7 years. Happy to have been part of the Hart & Harlow family since our Clawson days ( with a small hiatus to start my own business ) and am happy to be back in Royal Oak. I love all things hair, but am especially passionate about teaching, sharing what I know, and helping others grow.<\/p>

I graduated high school and earned my cosmetology license the summer of 2023 and I\u2019ve been working on and learning about hair since the summer of 2021! When I\u2019m not working, I enjoy going new places, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family. My favorite services to do would be blonding and color transformations.
